The Meadow Creek Vaulting Club was founded in 2003 by the Van Der Sluijs family. When the family moved from The Netherlands to Olds, Alberta, Canada back in 2001 - they started vaulting immediately with the help of local barns. But it wasn't until they relocated in 2003 that the Meadow Creek Vaulting Club was created. Currently the club trains at their home base: Creekside Equestrian Centre, located East of Olds.
The club is a not-for-profit organization. Our mission is to provide a fun and exciting equestrian sport to everyone. This includes those with previous equestrian experience, and also those new to the equestrian world! No previous sport experience in riding, gymnastics or dance is required before starting in Equestrian Vaulting.
The club is involved with many activities throughout the year. Including competitions, demonstrations, performances, clinics and camps.
Please read below about the Classes that we offer.

The Meadow Creek Vaulting Club offers competitive and recreational classes. Currently we run a Recreational Program in the Fall/Winter/Spring months. Please go to our 'Program' page for the full details. We also run a Pre-Competitive Program for the vaulters aspiring to work towards our Competitive Program, these classes run during the school year. Our Competitive Program runs year round - this group of vaulters is highly committed and compete at the Provincial, National and International levels.
Each summer the club organizes a Summer Vaulting Camp. Camp activities include gymnastics, dance, horse skills, vaulting and much more. Dates for this year's Summer Vaulting Camp can be found on our NEWS page, once the camp dates are set. Please visit our NEWS page for the Information and Registration Forms.
The club hosts several High Performance Training Weekends for our members throughout each year. More information will be available as we get closer to the events. Vaulters from other clubs are also invited to attend!
The coaches from the club are available to do clinics at your event or barn. We would love to come teach you or your group about vaulting. We can also make arrangements for you or your group to come to our barn to take part in clinics.
